A2J Clinic Project driving innovation at AALS Annual Meeting

Representatives from the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (“CALI”) and the Center for Access to Justice & Technology (“CAJT”) will be at the AALS Annual Meeting this week to introduce the A2J Clinic Project. IIT Chicago-Kent Professor Ronald W. Staudt, Director at CAJT; Andrew Medeiros, Access to Justice Fellow at CAJT; and John Mayer, Executive Director of CALI, will be at the CALI booth to discuss ways that A2J Author and other document assembly and automation tools can increase access to justice while arming students with skills needed in today’s legal marketplace.

Participants and staff members in attendance will meet informally throughout the AALS Annual Meeting to discuss the future of the A2J Clinic Project. The first official meeting of the Project is scheduled for February 2, 2013, at Columbia Law School’s campus.
